The Maximum entropy principle in spectral analysis

\r\nwas used as an estimator of Direction of Arrival (DoA) of

\r\nelectromagnetic or acoustic sources impinging on an array of sensors,

\r\nindeed the maximum entropy operator is very efficient when the

\r\nsignals of the radiating sources are ergodic and complex zero mean

\r\nrandom processes which is the case for cosmic sources. In this paper,

\r\nwe present basic review of the maximum entropy method (MEM)

\r\nwhich consists of rank one operator but not a projector, and we

\r\nelaborate a new operator which is full rank and sum of all possible

\r\nprojectors. Two dimensional Simulation results based on Monte

\r\nCarlo trials prove the resolution power of the new operator where the

\r\nMEM presents some erroneous fluctuations.<\/p>\r\n",
